David
Goldberg owns TelActive,
Inc. Web Development in Santa Fe, New Mexico as well as DavidG-Photo.com (this
site). He is a life-long photographer and musician and a member
of the New Mexico Music Commission recently created by New Mexico
Governor Bill
Richardson.
In the
past 30 years he has lived and worked in Asia and Europe
as well as around the US as an IT specialist. He began photographing
as a teenager in 1960 using a large format Graflex Speed Graphic
owned by
his high
school.
In the 70s, he took a 35 mm Olympus OM-1 SLR camera to India
but ended up selling it in order to prolong his stay (eventually
lasting
5
years).
Oh well...
Today David
shoots primarily with a Canon EOS DSLR cameras with Canon standard
and "L"
lenses as well as a few Tamron lenses. He also uses a Sony DSC-F717
with its built-in Carl Zeiss
zoom
lens and excellent infrared capability. Studio prints are made
with an Epson Stylus Photo R1800 printer using Epson archival
UltraChrome
Hi-Gloss
inks
and Epson
and Red River Premium papers.
He captures
photos in RAW format when possible. His interests are varied
and include Santa Fe and Southwest photography as well as music
and event photography.
